antique Composition Baby Doll Body 11”.
Found in my MILs doll collection parts box is this antique composition baby doll body. The stringing is a bit loose, but the dowel in the neck is keeping the parts together. The body is bent leg, so it is meant to sit. The arms are bent, but the right arm is bent at the elbow more than the right arm. There are rubs and spotting. The body needs cleaning, but I’ll leave that to some more experienced. There are chips on the big toes. The left side leg and arm have some major cracks. The right arm also is cracked. Look at the photos to see the damage. I think these can be filled, because the area is lifting. There is no markings on the body. The neck opening is 1 3/4” across. It would most likely have had a bisque head.
