The Double-Sided Island Support Bracket is a hidden countertop support bracket designed to give support to any countertop which has an overhang on both sides of the cabinet. This bracket is primarily used for kitchen islands or breakfast bars. This is the perfect concealed countertop bracket for double overhang countertops. We recommend spacing your brackets every 16 to 20 inches apart.

How to determine what size bracket:
This bracket will be installed over the top of your cabinets on the kitchen island or breakfast bar. Start by measuring the total length of your countertop. For example, you have a countertop of 28 inches. Subtract 3 inches from each side of the countertop. This subtraction is to stay away from the outer edge of the countertop, which is usually 2-4 inches. This gives us a total length of 22 inches (28 – 3 – 3 = 22), thus you would need to order 22 inch Double-Sided Island Support Brackets.
