This was my grandmas she collected a lot of this sort of material
Looks like Makah or nootka based on Google image search
Measures approx 10 inches across at widest point of opening bottom is approx 8 in wide approx 6.25 in tall
Might have had a handle. Also some areas of unravel on rim. See photos and enlarge to gauge condition
